This Arlington Estate Fall Wedding is as much a celebration of love as it is the season.
Prior to Stephanie and Stephen’s Arlington Estate Fall Wedding the couple had gained a bit of a reputation for marking the seasons with romance. Take for instance one particularly memorable winter’s day. Whilst strolling through the busy crowd of Christmas market goers in Toronto’s Distillery District, Stephen stopped Stephanie (and surely some passersby) in her tracks, as he got down on one knee to propose. From that moment on their lives have been filled with a sense of occasion and ever-growing romance.
To celebrate the best decision the two ever made - tying the knot - Stephanie and Stephen chose The Arlington Estate as their venue. The definition of luxury, this venue served as the perfect setting to their special day. Unique, opulent, and adaptable to suit the couple’s unique sense of style. It was important to them both to create an atmosphere of warmth and closeness for their 160 guests. Thanks to the help of their wedding planners Ellie Martires and Laura Atendido of Laura & Co. Events, the venue, and a little extra help from a very special best man (5ive15ifteen’s very own Mike Caringi) the entire day felt like an intimate celebration of love from start to finish.
In true Stephanie and Stephen fashion, the vision for the wedding centred around the season. Their October Arlington Estate fall wedding was all about the warm ambience of autumn. To help bring the couple’s vision to life, the style was all about taking classic autumnal cues, but giving them a modern twist. The season provided the unbelievably beautiful light and a backdrop of seasonal colours. The rest was up to the team at Laura & Co. Events, as well as the floral design team at Stemz.
Choosing a colour palette of neutral gray tones as the base, offered the perfect canvas for beautiful seasonal touches, such as the warm textures and truly breathtaking florals. Everywhere you looked at this Arlington Estate fall wedding, beautiful, autumnal blooms met the eye. Arrangements of stunning magnolias were found throughout, while a falling-leaf motif was carried out through every design detail, from the foil-pressed stationery to the matching cake by Nadia & Co. and the custom bar and dance floor decals. To this day the couple are still receiving well-deserved compliments on the unforgettable florals and overall beauty or their wedding.
When asked what the most memorable moments of the day were, Stephanie and Stephen find it difficult to choose just one. Thankfully, our team of Toronto wedding photographers were there to capture the beauty of this day. We made sure to catch every special moment from the intimacy of the couple’s first dance (a moving cover of the Leon Bridges song “Coming Home”) to the candid joy of the couple’s friends and family on the dance floor. Natural storytellers, we wanted to put together a collection of timeless photographs to help narrate the couple’s day. We took advantage of the natural light of the morning while Stephanie got ready in the Mint Room Studios, we used our editorial eye to document the sincere, heartfelt emotions of Stephanie and Stephen’s first look, and the sweet farewell said with pie -- a traditional autumn treat for guests to take home.
To talk about this day without touching on the familial love and closeness would leave the story incomplete. Both Stephanie and Stephen’s entire experience - from planning to the day itself - was made all the more memorable, special, and unique thanks to 5ive15ifteen’s Principal Photographer and Stephen’s brother Michael. Years of experience, impeccable taste, and artistic vision helped to create the couple’s dream wedding day. It was truly a joy to share in the family’s happiness for these two lovebirds, and the unmistakable depth of their love for one another. Seasons may change, but this love is one for the ages.
