A Dream Garden Wedding at Graydon Hall Manor: Photographing the Love of Sarah & Thomas in Toronto

Love knows no boundaries, and when Sarah and Thomas decided to tie the knot, they wanted a wedding that would bring together their families from both sides of the Canada-US border. With careful planning, they found the perfect destination at Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. Let’s dive into the beautiful love story and memorable moments from Sarah & Thomas’s gorgeous garden wedding!

Sarah and Thomas are romantics! After a year of dating, they took the leap and moved in together. Two years later, they bought a condo in Boston’s South End. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Thomas crossed the Canada-US border closure in October 2020 to propose to Sarah in a picturesque setting by the lake in Prince Edward County, Ontario. It was a magical moment that set the stage for their journey towards their wedding day. Now that’s true love. When considering their wedding venue, Sarah and Thomas wanted a destination that would be easily accessible for both their American and Canadian family and friends. They settled on Graydon Hall Manor, a stunning location nestled in the heart of Toronto. The elegance and charm of the manor provided the ideal backdrop for their dream wedding, offering a unique blend of history and sophistication.

On July 30th, Sarah and Thomas exchanged their vows, surrounded by loved ones who had traveled from near and far to witness their union. The evening was filled with laughter and joy as the couple celebrated their love alongside their families. The rehearsal dinner, the evening prior, was held at the renowned Royal Ontario Museum, which was a testament to the couple’s shared love for art and culture.

To honor their backgrounds, Tom and Sarah decided to incorporate a culinary fusion into their wedding festivities. You know what that means? Late-night food selection, showcasing a delightful (and delicious) blend of Canadian and American favorites, including corn dogs and poutine. Does it get more classic than that?

Now let’s talk about our beautiful bride’s details featured in these photos: Amidst the planning process, one of Sarah’s favorite moments was searching for her perfect wedding dress. After an exciting journey, she found “the one” at the Monique L’Huillier boutique in New York City. The exquisite flowers, arranged by Blush and Bloom, beautifully complemented Sarah’s pink flowered veil and shoes.

As the newlyweds made their grand entrance to the reception, Taylor Swift’s “Are You Ready For It?” filled the air, igniting the crowd’s excitement and setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. We most certainly were ready for it!

Tom and Sarah’s wedding at Graydon Hall Manor was a testament to their love and the unity of their families. From the breathtaking venue to the carefully curated details, every element came together flawlessly, thanks to the expertise of the Duet team. Their wedding was an enchanting celebration of love, shared heritage, and the beginning of a beautiful journey as husband and wife.
