A Beautiful Beach Wedding: Sunset Monalisa in Los Cabos is the Destination Wedding of Our Dreams
It was love at first DM! Like most great love stories of this decade, Ross was convinced by a coworker of his to send a message to the beautiful Manelli via instagram. Four years later, the happy couple planned the destination wedding of their dreams at the beautiful Sunset Monalisa in Los Cabos. This beautiful Mexico destination made perfect sense considering their engagement took place just 9 months prior in Tulum.
Although the couple initially connected from an instagram message, their love story took time to truly unfold, as Manelli was living in Montreal, and Ross in Toronto. Patience was key as they had to wait three months before their first date. You’ve heard the saying, “when you know, you know?” And oh, they knew! Rumor has it, after their first date Manelli texted and called multiple of her closest friends exclaiming, she just went on her last first date ever, and that Ross was absolutely “the one”. Turns out, she was right.
Manelli & Ross are infamous among their friend groups for their adventurous travels. It was December 2019, and the couple had a trip planned to Tulum for a winter getaway. Although Manelli was hopeful, when they got through security at the airport without any raised signals, she began to think maybe this wasn’t the engagement vacation she had been hoping for. Throughout the trip she kept hoping that it might be the moment, but it wasn’t until one final evening as they walked along the beach for sunset photos that she noticed the tears starting to well in Ross’s eyes that she knew this was the moment she had been waiting for!
Just a few months later in September, Manelli and Ross had the destination wedding of their (and our) dreams! Have we mentioned we love traveling for work? It was a stunning day, with an even more eye-catching couple. The details of their ceremony and reception space also did not disappoint. Manelli said “We wanted to make everyone feel [like] they just walked into a magical setting where the flowers and ocean met the sky,” The planners at The Eventeur made sure that was exactly the case. With a gown by Mira Zwillinger from Powder Bride, and a tux by Empire Customs, Manelli and Ross looked like royalty.
The evening concluded with a dance party, delicious food and beverages, and fireworks that soared through the sky above the bay.
