Emma and Blake’s intimate micro wedding at the Toronto Golf Club is yet another chapter in the story that is their classic romance. The two met the old-fashioned way, through mutual friends at a backyard summer barbecue. Their first date? Dinner and a movie. Considered classics for a reason: they’re timeless choices!

These Toronto Frontline workers celebrated their picturesque micro wedding at St. Basil’s after planning five different wedding days. To their credit (of which they deserve plenty), Aisling and Peter are excellent planners.

Lauren and Corey’s micro wedding at Graydon Hall Manor was effortlessly beautiful. An ease that has graced the couple since the start of their romance. The two first met at an impromptu long weekend with mutual friends. “You have to meet Corey!” Lauren’s friends gushed - and the rest is history!

On a gorgeous summer day, guests of Bianca Crignano’s Toronto Rooftop Bridal Shower escaped from the city heat to this airy oasis. From 40 floors up, this small group of Bianca’s dearest friends and family enjoyed the incredible views of the Toronto cityscape and glistening water of Lake Ontario. Away from it all, the women were able to catch up, relax, and celebrate as they watched their beloved Bianca as she basked in the beauty of the day.

When our dear friend and custom wedding cake artisan Nadia Colella from Nadia & Co announced she was launching a Holiday Collection, you can imagine the visions of sugar plums (and more!) that began to dance in our heads. Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to spend lots of time getting to know and working with Nadia.

Prior to Stephanie and Stephen’s Arlington Estate Fall Wedding the couple had gained a bit of a reputation for marking the seasons with romance. A stunning soirée, L.A. King’s Drew Doughty and Nicole Arruda’s Muskoka Wedding was all about fun. High school sweethearts, the two have known each other since the ninth grade. According to Nicole, not a whole lot has changed since then - that is if you don’t count a couple of Gold Medals, Stanley Cups, and a true love that has endured.

In light of the current global pandemic, couples have had to get creative when planning their COVID-friendly micro weddings. Unable to know what 2020 was going to throw their way, couples across the world have had to rethink their nuptials. While many have postponed entirely, others have forged ahead, finding unique ways to celebrate their special day.

Keilih and Evan Skrepnek’s Arlington Estate wedding perfectly illustrates turning chance into good fortune. The Toronto couple met - by chance - at a bar in Vegas. Keilih was there for her first time, while Evan was there on a business trip. Given the couple lived in the same neighbourhood in Toronto, this out-of-country serendipitous encounter was the most meaningful stroke of good luck the two had ever known.

Long before this couple’s gorgeous Auberge Du Pommier wedding, Danielle and Bill were big believers in the beauty of simplicity. More than that, they are living proof that the stars seem to better align when things are kept simple. Take the first time they met for example. That first encounter didn’t require any sort of algorithm or planning - they met by chance in a coffee shop while Bill was visiting friends in Toronto. See? Nice and simple.

The love story behind this Four Seasons Toronto Wedding has been worthy of celebration since the moment Kristyn and Domenic met. What began as a friendship soon turned into a lasting romance. Tale as old as time, but one we never tire of hearing. Kristyn and Dom’s relationship has always been one filled with romance. From their date nights making homemade pasta together, to their incredible Italian engagement story, this love is one for the ages.

A reveal is one of my favourite modern traditions in a wedding. It’s a beautiful, private moment where the couple can have their own reactions without an audience.

We love a destination wedding (who doesn’t??). We’ve been fortunate enough to travel to many exotic places over the years - Mexico, Costa Rica, Bali, Montenegro, to name a few! Recently, Mike and Eric shot a beautiful wedding in Playa Del Carmen. They decided to do something that we love to do on destination weddings - photograph a sunrise engagement shoot. 

Last March we had the pleasure to work with some of our favourite people in the industry on this beautiful style file, featured in the Spring/ Summer 2019 issue of Wedluxe magazine. Photographed over 2 days, the shoot featured Nadia & Co.’s amazing desserts, Paper & Poste’s beautiful stationery, Jodie Leigh Design’s fabulous floral, and the team at Laura and Co.’s meticulous planning and organizing, just to name a few!
